Cake pops do not need to be refrigerated or frozen. Typically cake pops last about a week at room temp, up to 3 weeks in the fridge, and up to 3 months in the freezer.
CONDENSATION WARNING: In order to prevent condensation, store in an air tight container if refrigerating or freezing. Then set out the entire container to come to room temperature before opening it. Condensation will mess up the chocolate coating and decorative elements of the cake pops.
-
No! In fact, refrigerating or freezing them can cause condensation that can mess up the chocolate coating or edible decor elements! They are perfectly fine at room temperature for about a week.
If you would like to store them longer, be sure to refrigerate or freeze them in a completely air tight container. When ready to eat them, let the entire container come to room temperature before opening it to ensure you don’t get condensation on the cake pops. -
My cake pops contain soy, dairy, eggs, and wheat. Unfortunately, all cake pops are made in my home kitchen and I cannot certify my cake pops to be 100% allergen free. If you have a severe allergy to soy, dairy, eggs, or wheat, I won’t be able to ensure there wont be minimal cross contamination because I use those ingredients in my kitchen.

I typically need at least two weeks notice for any orders larger than 2 dozen cake pops. Please fill out the custom order form as far in advance as possible to ensure I can meet your cake pop needs. I will try my best to accommodate as many custom orders as possible, but this is a one woman show.

I would absolutely love to offer an online course in the future so stay tuned!

For custom orders under $50, I require payment in full at time of booking.
For orders above $50, I require a custom order deposit upon booking. Full payment is due a week before the order is due.
These payments help me to ensure I have all the necessary ingredients prepped & ready for your special order.
-
Absolutely! I make custom cookie cakes, seasonal treats (such as pumpkin cheese cake bread and caramel apples), brownies, cupcakes and more. If you are wanting a treat not listed on my website, please use the contact form and inquire.
The only treat that comes to mind as a hard NO is custom traditional cakes. I do not claim to be a cake decorator & have no plans to offer traditional cakes.

The cake flavors listed are my tried and true flavors that I have tested many times. I’m totally open to cake flavor suggestions so contact me before filling out the custom order form to ensure I am able to meet your needs.

For last minute cake pop purchases, I now offer an a la carte menu! Currently I offer always in stock chocolate and vanilla cake pops. Please see my a la carte menu in the cake pop shop link.
Unfortunately, I need a minimum of a week to do most custom orders. Cake pops can be pretty time consuming to make. Being a mom of two school age children makes my schedule a bit full some weeks. Please feel free to email me your request and see if I have availability. I will try to accommodate as many orders as I can, but I can’t guarantee last minute custom orders. Depending on what orders I have already scheduled for the week, I may be able to squeeze in a smaller order (dozen or less) as a last minute request. If I take on an order with less than a week notice, I need payment in full upon booking.

I have always loved baking & dreamed of pursuing something baking related when I was younger. It has always been my stress relief to bake pretty much since I was maybe 10yrs old and was able to use the oven on my own. My middle school & high school friends always knew I was going to bring them a variety pack of Christmas cookies each year. I would spend hours in the kitchen making dozens of cookies in multiple varieties. Years later those same friends would still be raving about some flavors (an espresso crinkle cookie comes to mind even now!). I made amateur cakes for the children I babysat and nannied for through my high school and college years & took many fun baking & cooking classes even into adulthood.
After I had children, I often still do baking activities with them (like my grandmas always did with me!). I have always been the friend who shows up to all the parties & get-togethers with yummy baked goods. And my friends have always raved about my treats (which of course I love to hear LOL). I was a stay at home mom always making jokes about going to work in local bakeries to learn all their baking tricks.
Well in December of 2024, I ended up having a pretty serious medical emergency (Shingles in my eye!), which left me with a lot of recovery time to think. I was on strict eye rest for weeks so there wasn’t much I was able to do during this time except listen to audio books and think. What I kept coming back to is I want to spread joy somehow & baking kept coming to mind. After I was fully recovered I told my husband “I have a kind of crazy idea. I want to open a home bakery in the fall when Stella goes off to kindergarten.” (which would have been Fall 2025) I thought he was going to laugh, but instead he was 100% on board. He said he couldn’t think of a more perfect job for me since I’ve been talking about working in bakeries since we were teenagers & I was always baking. He has been my biggest supporter getting my home bakery off the ground, providing encouragement, helping me with event set up and keeping the kids entertained, and he always offers to wash dishes for me. I couldn’t do my home bakery without him!
Backing up a bit, I told my bestie my idea and she was really excited for me. She ended up sending me a few tik toks of the absolute CUTEST little Texas shaped cake pops and I was absolutely HOOKED! I got a couple of cake pop molds early 2025 and starting showing cute little bunny and Texas shaped cake pops to my friends and they went nuts over them. Friend after friend told me I should sell them or outright asked to buy some for Easter. Instead of waiting for the fall, I got my food handler’s certification in March and started Sami’s Sweets with an Easter 2025 pre-order!
It has been such an amazing leap of faith & I couldn’t be happier with my decision to go all in on my home bakery dreams! Spreading the joy and wonder to my friends and customers is soul filling for me. I am doing what i love & couldn’t imagine doing anything else!
